- Shockey Precast hosts CSI DC Chapter. A 2.5-hour PDH/AIA HSW LU program was delivered November 16. Shockey Precast tour guides provided an overview of their architectural and structural manufacturing facilities. Participants learned how precast concrete is manufactured and finished, saw the steps taken to ensure quality product, and gained a better understanding of how the product works within the design and construction process. Matt Cooper, Engineering Manager, concluded the program with PCI’s CEU “Design Considerations of Precast, Prestressed Concrete Parking Structures.” Need continuing education credits and want to see a precast, prestressed plant in operation?
