About Kyle!
I was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. My father has worked at High Concrete Group my entire life, which inspired me to join as well. I am currently in the role of Operations Foreman, but previously I helped PCI level one and two Certifications along with ACI Field Testing Certification. I started working at High Concrete Group 11 years ago in production and quickly moved into quality control for about 2.5 years. From there I went to CI for about a year before I decided to move back into production in a leadership role. I have been in production leadership ever since. I am 30 years old with a wife and three beautiful children. My hobbies include camping with my family, coaching my oldest son’s lacrosse team, hiking, hunting, and golfing.
PCI-MA: How do you have fun at work?
Kyle: I really enjoy planning out how to build complex and ornate form work to help produce award winning projects.
PCI-MA: Tell us about one of your proudest work accomplishments.
Kyle: One of my proudest work accomplishments occurred last year when I found out that we passed our PCI-AA certification on our first try. At the time, roughly only 12 other precasters in the nation had achieved this. Seeing all of the hard work I put into designing the form parts that needed to be fabricated, as well as all the time, energy, and effort that my team had put into producing the forms pay off was awesome.
PCI-MA: What is one thing you like most about your career in the precast industry?
Kyle: I like knowing that when we produce award winning projects, millions of people each year are going to see and utilize something beautiful that will last for years to come.
PCI-MA: What advice would you give someone just entering the workforce and the construction industry?
Kyle: In the construction industry, and especially the precast industry, nothing comes easy. So always work harder than everyone else around you.
